Why Removable Media ( Compact
Flash Cards ) Is Very Important
When you are tracking a vehicle with Mobile Watcher 2003, all of
the driving history is stored on
removable media. We did this for many reasons:
Memory card storage capacity increases while prices decrease.
Easy to access the data. For quick data retrieval, just swap the
current card with a blank one.
Low cost to replace if the memory wear out or goes bad. This
can happen.You never want to use
a product that stores data on a non-removable media. Especially
with a device that is mobile and is installed in a rugged environment.
It is no accident that most digital cameras are designed with the same
type of removable media.
Reliability of the System
The most important way to insure the reliability of a wireless
tracking product is to use a reliable wireless network. The Mobile
